If you would like to welcome them back, they are estimated to arrive at church by about 9:30 p.m. Excerpt of letter from JK Kim (CEC member at basic training at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado): …It’s pretty intense over here with all the running, pushups, pull-ups, marching, flutter kicks, and Air Force facts / quotes that we must memorize. But I’m learning to rejoice in the suffering here, haha, ‘cause suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character, hope. Gotta have hope here. I know a couple guys who left ‘cause they it was too much for them. Anyways, how is Canaan doing? I’m always praying for you guys. Miss Canaan a lot. How is my grade doing in CEC? Are they adjusting well? I’m betting they miss CYC haha from being the oldest to now being the youngest is always a strange adjustment. –JK. Last Week! Pray for the CYC Missions Team! Our CYC Dominican Republic Team is still out on the field. They will be returning home next Monday, July 23, 2007. Please keep them in prayer. Note from Pastor David Kang: We have been doing VBS....already done it three times. It has been very busy. We have also gone door to door evangelism, today...many people were open to the gospel message. It has been very tiring, but extremely spiritually refreshing here. It is our prayer that God will open our eyes to see everything spiritually, and to take this back home. We are all healthy. Please continue to pray for us as you are in our thoughts. Over 500 people came out to for a night a amazing music, great food, & fellowship. Proceeds will go to help support missions in Africa.
